Can I use HideMyAss as a proxy.

I have watch the tutorial videos before I write here. I have account on HideMyAss. But I dont know if it can be used because it is a different software. And can someone show me how to integrate between those 2 (GSA SER and HMA). Thank you.

    HideMyAss is a VPN as far as I remember. So on one hand it would work for you out of the box but on the other hand,they do not allow SEO tools.

    Oh okay. Thank you for your answer. Actually I dont know why we use proxy for GSA SER. I'm a serious newbie in GSA SER. I bought it last year and until now I dont know how to use it. Can you tell me shortly why we use proxy (although I know that it is not compulsory) and what proxy service do you recommend me? Thank you.

    - keep your identity hidden

    - use more than one thread at a time to crawl search engines (if you use more than one proxy)

    - avoid being banned by sites who use scripts against a database of unwanted visitiors
