Questions regarding proxy usage in GSA SER

Hello guys,

I have 2 questions regarding the use of proxies in GSA SER which I can't find answers to already.

First, I would like to know how to configure GSA SER to prioritize my private and public socks proxies. For example , I have a public single proxy server that automatically rotates IP and a private proxy server that also automatically rotates IP. so I would simply like to tell GSA SER to always try to use my public proxy and only if its down, it should then failover to the private proxy server. I need this to minimize the frequency of blacklists for my private proxy servers.

Second, I want to know if it is possible to configure GSA SER to recheck all my proxy servers every X interval. It appears that currently when it checks and finds out that a proxy is down, it automatically ignores it and never checks back again to see if it has come back alive.

Well did you take a look into proxy options? On the "Configure" screen you can set all this up.

Thx for reply but I do not think SER currently works as I have explained. There is no way to tell the program to give priority to any of my proxy which I have entered. What am saying is something like this:

"Use proxy A always but only use Proxy B when proxy A is down"

I do not see any option on the proxy configure menu to do this. Please can you guide me how to do this. Maybe am not understanding the options well. BTW, excuse me am new to this program.
