TMP files cleanup on exit

I am using tools to dedupe list and then export it to new project. It means that temp file is used to create new project. When I pause project and shut down identifier, the tmp file gets deleted. I think it should be kept in case its part of source file in active project, otherwise I cant continue with the parsing on next app start, the file is gone. I think the source file could be better deleted together with deleting of the project in case its located in temp folder.
