abuse notice

i got an abuse notice from my vps.
the only thing running on the vps is GSA SER.
i use 10 private proxies, and check everything using 'private'.
i tested the proxies using firefox and myip website, the proxies do appear to work.

how did 'BitNinja' find my vps ip? what should i do?

  • what vps you are using?  I have similar experience from greencloudvps.com and their budget plan
  • proxy provider?
  • i got the proxies from instantproxies
  • and when i questioned instantproxies, they canceled my account. wtf?
  • There is an option in Global Settings > Submission to stop projects on no active proxies and disable banned proxies. You can use those two to prevent IP leaking.
  • ^thanks for the tip
  • yes, i had the checked also. maybe it's the proxy quality? my proxies did not require passwords.
  • are this WEB proxies? or Transparent(Connect)
  • i test my proxies again whatismyipaddress.com and ALL my 20 private proxies failed. is that why i am getting the abuse notice? i run SER for 2 hours and got 5 notices from bitNinja! now i am using newipNow's proxies.

    please help.
  • yes, probably. becouse if i test my they are good.
Still, what TYPE of proxies do you have? web, connect, socks
    image
  • they are web proxies
  • hm, than it is very possible they are leaking your IP(vps)
I have seen when, using web proxy, that proxy was detected and than below my real IP was listed like here on example picture. But still, not always.

If you are still using instantproxies, I would reather try buyproxies or mexela or something else.
I dont know, maybe someone else have any better idea.
  • i tried whatismyip.com like in your image, and it says no proxy detected and the ip shown is my proxy.

i switched from instantproxies to newipNow and evidently both leaked somehow, even though the above test didnt indicate a leak.

are you saying other types of proxies are better than web proxies? which type is better?
  • ppl recomended me transparent proxies. In SER are now detected as Connect.
In general, I think everyone is using transparent proxies.
Maybe the issue comes on https, since those are as described on their web page, http proxies for browsing.
  • sock proxies are generally the best for this type of thing.
  • i switched to mexela as vuli suggested above, and got 7 abuse notices on bitNinja (on my vps) in about 12 hours?
    i got 10 semi dedicated.

these are connect proxies. anonymous test shows 'yes'.

    i checked
    remove non-anonymous proxies
automatically disable proxies when detected to be down

    somebody help?
