%url% is blank in child project

Got 21 verified links right now in my upper tiered project (primary project).

I've chosen "Use verified URLs of" > "Primary Project"

But when I clicked "Test", URL is blank and of course %url% is also blank. Will that work when SER runs?

Also, will "Use secondary anchor text with... " field accept %url%? I want to add certain percentage of bare links (not just domain, but full urls for lower tiers). Will filling in %url% in that field work? Don't really know since the "Test" button doesn't display URL field from verified URLs of primary project.
