Ability to set what global site lists to use in project - need an advice

Below is a default setup for [Use URLs from global site list if enabled].
If these four fields are unchecked, and global site list is enabled. Does it still work and get URLs from all lists? Or I have to check at least one field?

    Why would you have it enabled, yet not check a field? I haven't tested what your asking, but it makes sense that if you want to use the global site list, then you need to specify which folder you want it to refer to.......

    Yes that makes no sense. Uncheck the option than.

    The problem is older projects set up to use global lists before the option to choose which list was added. They all look like the screenshot.

    So I need to go throught all my legacy projects to fix?

    i believe that is something sven should fix, doesnt make sense

    default option is all checked now
