Request: Limitation at threads to use option

it happens kinda often to me that i want to change the threads number on my box .. and a little typo .. from 300 it goes to 3100 and because of that the box cpus run at 100% and i cannot do anything anymore .. since i wanted to do only 100 again .. would be nice to do some check if > 1000 or something a "Are you real sure checkbox" i think not very much people use that many threads so or so
