On this video:


I see 
www.website.com# {anchor 1 | anchor 2 | %URL% anchor3 | 

And on the bottom anchor section is left as anchor 1

Does that mean we can just go ahead and include whatever anchor text we want on the URL section?

What does it the difference if you include the anchor text on the URL vs. the Anchor text box below?

    If you include the anchor in the format you posted like http://www.yourwebsite.com#{anchor 1|anchor 2|anchor 3} those anchors will be locked to that specific URL.

    If you were to just put anchors in the anchor text box and you had multiple URLS, the anchors would be used for all the URL's.

    So if you're building links to more than 1 URL in a project and want specific anchors used for each URL, you use that format mentioned, otherwise you can just put them in the anchor field.
