Verifying URL's - GSA keeps pausing

When i'm verifying URL's, GSA seems to take a break and not do anything for ages until i stop then start again. I'm using Active (V) to verify, with automatically verify in the project options.
Seems very slow in general, but when it starts to verify and the numbers in my verified column go up, they sure as hell go up fast.

    Maybe you have SER set to wait between email login attempts?

    Yeah i have it at 900 seconds, that could be why :p
