there is no EXACT strategy when it comes to ranking on any search engine,it all depends on the competition of the keyword you are trying to rank for..But in most cases,yahoo/bing tend to favor more EMD'S in comparison to other's,but at the same time,you have cases where spamming might work in yahoo/bing,..do some testing,and you will find what works better than the other,that's the fun part
