Is video required in every project?

Do I have to include a YouTube video in every project? Is it safe to use one of my own, or better to pick a random one?
Or should I pick several and specify in spintax?

In my particular project I'm linking to a Newswire Press Release, which already has my video embedded in it.

    Ok, never mind - I unchecked video sites, then video parms no longer required.

    Yea, anything that you DON'T want to have to enter data for, you have to uncheck within the field labelled "Where to Submit".
