Awaiting account activation - how can I deal with this problem?

I tried many times to create backlinks using articles, wikis and social networds but I get stucked. I have on every engine over 1000 submitted links, but on each one it says "Awaiting account activation". I tried hotmail, yahoo or gmail emails, proxies, captcha breaker etc.
I tested and re-tested... any help would be apreciated.
Thanks !

  • have the same problem
  • I have experience similar also - and also I had a situation where I had submitted 92 and verified 50. Next time I load up the project the submitted count was ZERO but the verified  was still at 92

So what happened to those submitted requests ?
  • Thats the way it for contextual targets like articles, they are mostly moderated by webmasters,so, to get your article accepted make sure you have high quality articles that relate to the site,or else, your articles won't be verified, and you won't get any link..This applies to tier 1,tier 2, whatever tiers you use, always use high quality articles to get the best out of these contextual platforms.
  • Thank you for your answers guys.
@young_gooner‌ : i hate arsenal but i love ur answer. Im gonna build a bigger list with articles, wikis, social networks and when i ll have at least 10k of identified domains i will make a new campaign with a few well spuned articles (matthew woodward type) and i ll try that, maybe i ll get luckier. I m gonna post here the results.
  • @banel, sounds good... Lol,why do u hate arsenal?  :))
  • @young_gooner‌ ,Man utd fan here :p
By the way. Do you think it s a good ideea if i check my mails and also activate them using another tool and not gsa ser ? Something like senuke xcr. I m thinking to create accounts with gsa and after that check/activate my mails with senuke xcr. Will that work? I mean will gsa ser be able to succesfully log in and submit my article to articles/social networks/wikis ? Because i suppose that if i use another tool for emails gsa ser it will still show the "awaiting account activation" message when i click "show submitted urls", right? :)
  • To avoid problems, just let ser do everything including verifying the emails.
Man utd fan?  :))  see you on 22nd
  • I let gsa ser do everything and until now i had only problems regarding email verification and submitting to articles/social networks/wikis. Maybe i will get better results with a bigger target list and bettwer spun articles, but speaking about email verification i have no clue what to do... It s totally weird, gsa ser downloads and parse a few emails while senukr xcr does the full job, it downloads everything and goes through all the activation links...
And another question: if i import a target list that contains only the domain urls is gsa se lr able of findind the register page? Or do i have to import precisely the register pages?

    3-1 for man utd :))
  • In my experience this really depends on the sites on your target list and not necessarily the platform types. Sometimes some article sites just won't verify at all. However if you try a different working verified list you may be able to get better results.
  • @young_gooner : i'm back with a few results.
Imported a 50k domains list full with articles, social networks and wikis.
Created 3 projects (each with hotmail emails, each targeting only one engine - articles, social netw, wikis).
Created ~100 accounts on each one. At this point i said "that's enough", i deleted the "target url cache" and let gsa ser check the emails. By the way, i got 50-60 mails from all of this 3 projects, i manually logged in and checked to see how many emails each email account received. Of course, gsa ser parsed only... 5 emails i think :))
I let those 3 projects run over night (with no imported urls and no search engines or global lists checked) and I thought gsa ser will start submitting my articles, right ? I was so wrong..
I have no idea what i'm doing wrong. Any suggestions ? I used 9.18 and now i installed 9.20 but it's the same problem, gsa it's not submitting articles.
  • @banel,how many emails did u use for each project?
  • edited November 2014
@young_gooner : One email per project. From hotmail, fresh emails, created by me. Is that a problem?
The problem I see here is that gsa is not submitting my articles... the account creation process is working fine.

  • thats strange because on my side its submitting without a problem,i think it has something to do with your proxies,i'd have to check your project and i can see where the problem lies
  • @young_gooner : i m gonna try right now to submit without proxies.
  • @banel add me on skype and i can help you when am free
  • the problem is that gsa can't see a lot of inbox emails
i posted a similar question and generally no solution were given
sven said just "don't use those email with browser or else"
but I see working accounts in my inbox and in manual posting everything works even without moderation
so it ser problem, and no one solve it...
  • @banel I have also same issue even in zendesk posting...Always frustrating...
  • Same issue here with article engines. Very low VPM for articles these days.

@Khalid Zendesk shouldn't be the gold standard. It's very buggy and hardly ever works.

If you guys want to see if SER is working, try a few blog comments, guest books or directories. If you want to see if Articles are working, try XE.
  • @brandon, what does this statement actually mean?  "If you want to see if Articles are working, try XE."
are you having a lower success rate with article platforms while using SER or?

@young_gooner articles are working fine for me. They number of verifieds has been shrinking but that's normal as captchas get better. I use spamvilla and no human captcha solving.

I mentioned XE because that's usually the easiest article platform to get links from.

    A couple images from today.

  • aah,u meant express engines, got u..well,as i said before to get the best results with these platforms, use a recaptcha solving service and also post good quality articles that are somehow related to the site,or else, they will be deleted by the webmaster.
  • ExpressEngine rarely if ever requires email verification so testing those isn't going to help diagnose the problem compared to BuddyPress, Drupal, etc which normally requires email verification.

Just look at your log a little bit and you'll see. ExpressEngine immediately logs in and posts after registration (no email verification required).

I also posted a thread about this issue awhile ago and received zero responses:
