"Use the root/main URL with X %" Not Working :(

in GSA Search Engine Ranker
So I have created a project with the settings below, but I don't get 90% of links to the main URL so it looks like this setting is ignored. Am I doing something wrong?

    the setting is ignored if you enable the project option "verify exact url".
