Optimal thread to proxy ratio?

Just wondering if anyone had done any testing into optimal threadcount to proxy ratio?

 

There are more settings to consider than just proxy to threads ratio. What type of platforms are you using, can your proxies handle bandwidth, public or private, etc.

Testing is the most important thing you can do. That's how I find my optimal ratio.
