Proxy sock error - Connection refused/Connection timeout

If SER gets one of these errors, how many times does it retry with different proxies?

    Thanks @Sven! BTW does GSA SER support socks5 proxies or just http?

    socks4, socks4a, socks5, http, http-connect (trans).

    It even supports cgi-based proxies where you enter the url in a webform and it gets content over a that script. Though this kind of proxy is not really added for public usage as most people would not understand the it would cause more trouble and support tickets.
