Does ELGG use recaptcha?

At first glance it appears that the ELGG platform uses recaptcha. This means that captcha breaker can't do jack with ELGG for the most part :(

How about wiki sites? Do those use recaptcha as well?

Also, what do you guys recommend for a human captcha service? What is the best now a days? :)
