Do redirects and PHP exploit links have any value?

I use them for Tier 3, but do they have any value if there are no Tier 4 pages linking to them?

Do you guys use redirects and PHP exploits?

Indeed they have little to none value if you do not create links to them as they do not appear anywhere (dynamic by GET value in URL).
  • And if I did create links to them? Would it make any sense to do that?
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
At least search engines can pick them up and make value of it. I do not know what value they have, guess it depends on your SEO strategy. Maybe others can jump in and say somethign to it.

I agree that it depends heavily on your SEO strategy, but that's true of just about everything....
  • Those mostly is used to in last tier this is the best value you can get from them... :)
  • What's the value if you use them in the last tier?
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
None I would say, because the links are not seen by any search engine, just you.

@ptr22 when u say "redirects", are you referring to  specific platform in GSA SER (where to submit to ) ??
  • royalmice yeah, I meant URL shorteners..

Anyway I removed PHP exploits and URL shorteners from my projects and now my VpM dropped from 8 to 1.17 :/

    @ptr thank you

I agree on the last tier it would be pointless to use the exploits and shorteners, best remove them and save the resources for other stuff.

The difference in VPM does not really matter as you were getting verified links which have no bennefits in anyway.

Anyways, thanks for pointing this out, i always used exploits in my last tier, but will remove them.
  • I've thought about this too. There is no way that URL shortener links and PHP exploits have any chance of being found naturally (as far as  I can tell), so I think they would useless in your last tier.

Thats correct with one exception. Some URL Shortener's list there last shortened URLs on there main page and search engines would be able to pick that up.

Yes but the last created urls on the main page will be gone within a hour or less, specially if every GSA ser owner is blasting them
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
True, though search engines know the link then ;)
