is SSD really need for GSA+CB+Indexer? or it just fine with SATA?

which plan will you choose to run GSA+CB+Indexer,
1. E3 with 6GB RAM
2. E5 with 2GB RAM

    Not needed but might speed things up. I try to reduce hd read/write access as much as I can.

    You will feel the difference belive me, I switched all my SATA VPSes to SSD, they are 2-3 times faster, I mean I have a lot higher LPM. But I had a lot of projects, so a lot of data to read/write so maybe that was the reason in my case the SATA were so slow. (probably)
