Can't verify links manually

@Sven I selected some projects, right clicked to Show URLs - Verified. The list opens up, i select links in some date range, click on Verify - Selected. It verifies a few and just hangs. It doesn't stop responding and shows no error. It just verifies a few and then does nothing. I click on Abort and it quickly aborts. I have done this often before and has always run through the list verifying it in a few minutes. I saw there was some update recently on re-verification. Can you please see the matter. I am running latest version 9.08

Even if i select a small amount.. around 30 links, and click on verify - selected, it verifies 2 of them and does nothing more.

strange, can't reproduce this. Can you maybe send me your project backups to debug on?

@Sven can you try with more projects at a time? I select 2 projects, see their verified URLs, select 30-40 links and verify - all is good. Then i select 8 projects and do the same (verify 30-40 links) and then the problem starts

found one bottleneck but that would not explain why the verification never moves on for you.

@Sven i let it run now despite getting stopped. It verified some links, then stopped for a few minutes, then again verified some links, stopped again ... it took 1 hour 20min to verify ~1000 links. Could it be the reason that it stops for timeout links (html timeout seconds? i have it on 150), and therefore doesn't go on with other links until the timeout seconds are counted... then continues and then again finds some timeout links (site loading forever).. ?

it had to pause since the project urls get reloaded to an internal list. This however is improved in next version.
