Myth or not?

I know everybody says that Tier 1 should be super high quality but I have ranked one site #14 (though low competition) with only spun crap on my Tier 1 (unique spun crap). Did I get lucky or is the Unique content stuff just a myth? I am asking from you because as it's a GSA forum then you have the most knowledge about actually building links.Thanks!

    unique content is not a myth.You are confusing human readable content with unique content , both are different. #14 is nothing , i have rankied numero uno with spun garbage tiers as well as the landing page itself.

    My bad, yes, I meant human readable unique content vs spun unique content that is not human readable :)
