Same here but I don't seem to get that much of shared proxies from SER proxy harvester. Do you use the default proxy sites built in in SER to find good proxies ? or you changed/edit them a bit ?
I use the automatic with the default and that give me around 2000 good proxies.
My settings are: Check for new proxies every 30 min. Second option unchecked Test proxies : Only newly added + Retest previously working proxies I auto export the list to my dropbox folder in case i need a proxy for something i can just get it from there. Threats at 50 and timeout at 60
Why shared proxies and not private? and does location of the proxies matter? I think i can get some asia proxies for cheap but i keep seeing people asking/talking about US proxies instead

Seems to work fine with me.

For my set up the above seems to work ok for me
Shared proxy is because i cant afford 100 private proxies --
Timeout 60. Would that be a bit slow ?

What timeout setting do you used for public proxy ?
I use timeout at 2 seconds currently but I'm thinking to set it at 1 sec.
what is the "best practice" for public proxy timeouts ?
thanks in advance for the info.
