Why article-wiki is always not checked in (type of backlinks to create)?

hello
i was doing a new project just now and i noticed that the article-wiki is not checked in "type of backlinks to create" section in the project option tab
also the forum posts is not checked as well
it explain clearly why the forum posts is not checked when i try to check it but i can't figure it out why also the article-wiki is not checked
is there a problem with this type of links?

    No problem with that type of link. It's just deselected by default I believe because webmasters of the wiki's might see your article and delete it easier than if it was just a few lines of text. SER use to not post articles to wiki's but a lot of people requested so Sven added it. 

    I always check it and submit articles to wiki's anyways and don't have any issues on my end.
