Is it working or not GSA Email Verification?

Hi, I have set up 1 gmail account in email verification tab using catchall setting. It is working fine and when i click on test it say successfully and also i am receiving email in my gmail account. I see logs and it say....
email verifying.....
email verification done

but when i log into my gmail account and see mails none of them is mark as read.....all mails are unread. 
Is it ok or they should be mark as read if gsa ser is reading them.

    emails never get marked as read by a pop3 protocol.
