Results on Bing/Yahoo not as good as G

Is it just me?

Over 6 months running projects and GSA has given me great rank on G (first and second page results on many of my keyword results).

Bing/yahoo rank results are noticeably improved over 6 months but nothing as good as G results. Just can't get on that first page on bing/yahoo for anything - third page and a few second page if I'm lucky.

Does Bing/yahoo not focus on backlinks when ranking sites? Should I just keep the backlinks flowing and give it more time? Any insight appreciated.

I have the opposite. Lot's of love on Y & B, but hatred from G. :-)

Trouble shooting it over the next few months. I'd like to be popular with all 3!

They use completely different algorithms. If you spam the living hell out of your homepage, you will rank high in Bing/Yahoo and completely tank in Google. Bing/Yahoo also likes more mature sites, and they love EMD's.

So you need to pick your poison.

I noticed with some (abandoned) projects, that yahoo and msn look way more on onpage upfront and seem to take a lot of time to dig through links. Just my 2 cents.
