Placeholder for Articles

Hi guys,

I am a newby to SER, 2 questions. 

1. In the folder "engines" there are a lot of .dat files which could be used as placeholder, I guess. Let's say "instruments". How can I recall that in an article? I tried %instruments% but it is not working.

2. Is there a definitive list of all placeholders available in GSA SER? I could not find a definitive guide to it.
