?Low submitted (412) & high verified(21,000) in 48 Hrs?

Hi, thanks for taking a sec
Can someone explain this... I would think the opposite should hold true...
In the project window for multiple projects launched at same time, I'm seeing low submitted (412) & high verified(21,000) in 48 Hrs?
Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

As links are verified, they're removed from the submitted column and go to the verified column. 

I'm assuming you're running off an imported list or global site lists are enabled?

Yes, I've imported a list to identified and feed the projects that way.
All the verified go to the verified folder.
