100 Threads, 10 Shared Proxy = ? LPM

Considering a pretty common setup of 100 Threads, 10 Shared Proxies, PR0+ non spammy engine links, just using Captcha Breaker, no outside or global site lists; what's a reasonable LPM to expect?

I've been tweaking my GSA SER setup over the last couple of weeks and have managed to get to around 20-30 LPM. Wondering if there's still a lot of room for improvement I can achieve with these settings. I guess if the answer is no, I have to get some more proxies and turn up the threads?

  • I'd say with these settings that's a pretty good LPM. If you want more performance get more proxies and start using lists. :)
  • Thanks. How does it work usually, double the proxies and thread to double the LPM or there is a certain amount of diminishing returns?
  • It depends. The PC you're running SER on is an important factor too - mainly your CPU. It also highly depends on your lists, but yeah, generally speaking if you have more proxies you can bump up the threads.
