GSA SER need more CPU cores or Less cores but higher speed???

I was thinking does gsa ser to be effective and to handle more threads need to use more CPU cores or Less cores but higher core speed?

Example would be Dual Intel Xeon 5639 vs Xeon E3-1230
which is better and how much it is better? we talk only how it performs on gsa ser.
