What type of url do I need to upload?

If I load up the root url of my domain, will it index all of the pages/posts on my domain or do I need to input each page/post from my wordpress blog  separately?
If so, do you know an easy way to generate a text file of every page/post on the site?

Your root domain should be fine as the search engines will soon pick up every link there is.

The search engine spiders will crawl your site and pick up the other pages. That's why its important to have a decent internal linking structure.

You said you're running Wordpress so you should be able to get indexed pretty easily since Google seems to love Wordpress.
