Clearing Stats

Hi,

I'm paranoid so excuse me if this is a silly question.

If I duplicate a project and want to reset the stats (submitted and verified) I believe I can select all urls and then delete. I just want to make sure that resets the stats and doesn't delete the urls from the verified list !

    Yes you can do that with no harm. The better way to clone is when you clone, a window pops up that says Duplicate: and select "Just Data/Options". That way you are not dragging in the history of posting targets as well.

    Just so you know, getting rid of the submitteds and verifieds doesn't get rid of everything, so for that new cloned project, delete Target URL Cache and delete Target URL History (everything). That way you start with a clean slate.

    Then going forward, just use Duplicate" Just Data/Options for your future clones.

    One last thing - clones carry forward the URL from the original project. Make sure you edit that with the correct URL.
