Question about articles

I am really not sure what kind of articles to choose. Are random articles (not about the actual niche) with let's say 5% niche related keywords added by me good? Or is it better if the whole article is about the niche? I mean, it's just for Tier 2 and Tier 3 link building campaigns. 

Please let me know what articles you normally use for your campaigns, thanks!

    No, this is a legitimate question. 

    Quite many people use random articles for T2 and T3 link building, but many others prefer niche related stuff.

    If you know so much about SEO then you know to test it out yourself and figure out what works out best for you.
