Keyword Percentages

Hi,
When setting up my keywords across the various settings in GSA, Partial, Secondary, Branded, LSI & Generic, I understand that they all need to add up to 100%, which is fine.

BUT, if I click the Anchor Text Variation box, and enter day 20%, does this 20% also need to be counted within the overall 100%? I dont think so, but Im just checking in to confirm.

    If you count all the percentages together and it's not 100%, then the remaining percentage is taken from the main anchor text (the big box above the others).

    Yes, I get that, but does the Anchor Text Variation count as part of the 100% or not?

    no of course not. Thats applied after the anchor is chosen. Then according to the percentage of the variation, it is modifying it or not.
