Google algo update - anyone else?

in Need Help
For the past 4-5 days I've been seeing some crazy fluctuations, from position 1 to 30, etc. Anyone else seen this? Looking around it appears that there's a possible Penguin update in the works but nothing confirmed:

Some of my sites are weathering the storm well, some not so much.

    You are not alone @spunko2010 . Woke up this morning and saw that one of my flagship had sunk like a stone. This update seems to hit hard on web 2.0.

    I was having a good week last week, but it went downhill from Friday onwards.

    As mentioned in some other discussion here , there is an update . Big one and still going. It target overoptimized anchor text websites and spun content .

    All my sites have tanked. Searching for a solution now. Sites that tanked were using web 2.0-s with spun content as backlinks, the anchor text was not that high.. maybe 10-20%. Also, bloggers that I spammed tanked real fast.

    @Molex can you give a hint to how you build links? Anchor %, tiers, engines?

    I haven't seen anything but gains, sorry :)

    There are always some gains for me, but other sites drop, in every update. I haven't seen any get 'slapped hard' though, thank God.

    My anchor text is never above 5% but sites still dropped. I think it's something else.

    @theguruland can you point out some of the other threads? I searched but couldn't find any.

    Looks like the update is still going on. Since I posted earlier I've seen big changes :S

    Well I go for 50% generic 40% naked URL, and usually add at least 15 anchors.

    I Chill wholesale change my moneysite, I first thought of a "dance". 
    Whatever be my money site again back stronger after 2-3 days :)

    I think that you should never stop backlinks, it shows that you control the construction ...

    I am almost certain that hummingbird and the quality of thier1.
    I have not analytic on my pnb, i can't really says stats but i use many (many) anchor  to have no problem.
