Is it a good ideea to "Skip for identification" ?

I have my own verified list I use for my project and I wanted to know if I sould check or not "Skip for identification" option.
I dont really know what this option does but when I check it I see less proxy failed.

this option will download a sites content without proxy for first time to identify what engine to use with it. Everything else after it is done with proxy (posting).
