Different proxy-using scenarios

Now that I'm hopefully leaving SER-scraping for good, I just got curious if I could squeeze more out of the proxies I use.
Right? If I'm not searching for targets on search engines, wouldn't that mean I could turn up the heat a little bit?
I'm running 2 SER's, another one has 30 private proxies, and the other one 30 semi-private. When I used SER also for scraping, I was running both on 300 threads.
How high have those of you gone who only use SER of posting? Is playing around with these things going to have any good effect on the important numbers?
I'm currently running 10 threads per proxy with a 60s timeout (in the proxies -> options).
