I'd like to see a figure in the main screen's status bar that shows how much bandwidth we're currently using.

    This is important because I can see that my CPU and Memory usage is quite low. I suspect that my bottleneck may be network usage.  This feature would be helpful to confirm it.

    You can see network usage by pressing ctrl+alt+escape and chosing the second tab (this shows you a nice graph of memory and cpu usage as well).
