SCRIPT ERROR - email verification used but no valid email defined!

Got it, but I guess I should be more clear with my question, when SER successfully checks a mailbox and/or clicks a link, what is the output (if any), or is it different based on engine?

I ask since we have a very large pop3 catchall which seems to have lower success rates as time goes on.

Hi @Delta, I stopped using catchall email accounts. As your catchall account gets larger (more than 1000 emails), SER takes ages to verify them. To proof to yourself, just take one project with a large catchall account, set it to Active (Verify E-Mails Only), run that project only, and you'll see how slow it is...

Still getting this error on pliggs, using 8.37

My catchall email inbox isn't large (less than 100 mails atm)

Found out why.

This is happening with the pliggs when the registerpage doesn't exist and the website redirects you to the mainpage.

also still getting this on pligg even the new v8.40

I've seen this error also with 8.40 but did not take note of the engines.

What version was it when these messages first started to appear?

forumactif is not an engine coming from us.

Forumactif is just a clone of PhpBB engine for my own test.

Have the same results with PhpBB engine

should be fixed on next version.

what are you changing?

this error is shown if the engine is using email verification but no email was submitted on the registration step. So obviously something went wrong. Usually it's the site itself not allowing to register or has a changed order of registration steps.

getting a lot of script error on social bookmarking. copy below...have the latest version 9.18. other settings are all good, no issues there. to check have defined one hotmail and one yahoo email, both are working...
