Why Blogcomments/Trackbacks Use All My VPS CPU?

Hello, I just realized that when I use blog comments engines my VPS overloads the CPU usage even if use only 200 threads cpu rises to 80 - 90%, usually it stucks after some time, if I exclude such type of engines I could use even 500 threads and CPU average is 50 - 60%. Do this is for all or only for me? My VPS Deatails - Intel Core i7 3.4GHZ, 4GB Ram, Win 2008.

    those sites are usually heavily spammed and SER spends a lot time downloading, analyzing and posting.
