Proxies Threads - What does it mean and what to put here?

In the configure tab of proxies options, i also see a threads. How many threads should i set here and what does it means these threads from here?

I`m using 30 semi-dedicated proxies.

    This is threads for the proxies tester.

    generally you would want a value x10 of your proxies (so 300 threads in your case), but look at memory use and processor - it may be your computer can not handle that much, so you have to go lower then.

    @Ferryman, how did you ever come up with that number? It doesn't make any sense to use more than 30 threads if you've only got 30 proxies... Also, I would never test proxies as long as they're not public.

    @fakenickahl - the number you put in the proxy checker doesn't matter because with semi you won't be checking proxies anyway. If you do use proxies for posting and scraping 10x the number is a good figure to keep in mind. I was referring to the general threads per proxy for submission & scraping. I have the proxy checking set at 100 though I don't use this option anyway.
