Domain names with special characters (IDNs)

HI,

I am trying to add a new project to SER, the project is for one of my new site with a special characters (IDN), i am getting an error about the Domain name when trying to save the project:

can you please help me with this?

    don't use that format but the xn-- one with the proper encoded URL.

    Yes for now i am using the xn-- URL but i would like to build links on the special characters version, it is helping Google choosing the right version in the search results and not the xn--, as well, eventoght there is a redirection i would like to have all my links on the special characters version and not split between 2 version of URL.

    There is no way you can fix that so that field use UTF?

    actually all xn-- URLs are just translated in browser for you. In the background the xn-- format is the only valid one.
