Just a guess, but I would say you are looking for throw-away numbers. I've seen them for sell before on BHW.

A quick google for "Receive texts online" will also get you pointed in the right direction. There are a number of sites that give out numbers where you can recieve text-messages for free, but these are usually blocked by Google in my experience.
