[HELP] Semi Dedicated Proxies or Dedicated Proxies?

Hello, I'm making a decision on buying proxies from Buyproxies.org and I'm new here

Should I buy a combination of 10 Dedicated Proxies and 20 Semi Dedicated Proxies for $40?

Or should I just make a decision to invest $50 to buy 30 straight Dedicated Proxies?

Also what's the difference between those 2 kinds?

i use 50 semi from buyproxies.org and have no problems
  • Okay that's awesome, as I see that 50 semis are I think "shared proxies" and I'm happy you have no problems Are you using GSA to rank videos?

Dedicated is better, but most of the time you'll pay almost double. They're not worth double the price.
  • I was using their semi-dedicated for a while with good luck.
  • So if I would just buy 30 dedicated proxies, would that be solid for campaigns?
  • @MoRTiZz3 Not sure exactly of your question but if you are asking about SER settings, I would start with 100 threads and see how it goes. I am sure 30 private could handle more but ime more threads is not always better. If it is running well at 100 with reasonable CPU, memory usage and not hitting blob recaptcha try 150 and see if lpm improves. If you are talking number of projects running if you have more than 20 use the scheduler try 20/20 - run 20 at a time for 20 mins.

But yeah, 30 private proxies should be good to build a lot of links.

Thank you Samx, I'm new here and I'm just familiarizing myself with the language and which settings, proxies, and vps to use so I can get maximize results

So if I bought 30 dedicated proxies from Buyproxies.org, would that be great?

Also I might be adding Magic Submitter here too but if I would buy a VPS from SolidSeoVps that is 6.8GHZ, Dual Cores, 150GB Storage Space and 2GBPS Bandwidth would that be enough?

Are these choices great? If I can, I want to be as flawless as possible

  • @MoRTiZz3 I have (and do) run a very similar setup and found it to work well. In my case with not that many project I can get up to 60 lpm and the vps still performs well i.e. cpu not maxxed. If you go with Solid it is no thing to up/downgrade which is very nice. This is not a setup for the heavy hitters on this forum but to get started or if you don't have mass volume it is pretty great. On the other hand it all depends on what you are doing and how you set it up. I'd opt for SSD since hard drive space is not usually important and disk i/o is a big deal.

Have you considered captcha breaking? How about indexing?
  • Yeah I will use Deathbycaptcha and Indexification for indexing

Yeah I'm planning to have a set up just like how Heavy Hitters are

What would be that perfect setup? First of all, I want to thank you for helping me at each step
  • dbc will get very expensive very fast. You should look into one of the OCR services here as well as GSA Captcha breaker.
Hmm, heavy hitters... not sure I can really answer that one. But I do know they are not using a single dual core vps with 2gb ram :)
  • Ahh okay okay thanks! So I'll take your word in buying an SSD and getting GSA Captchabreaker

Basically What are the factors that would make me a "heavy hitter" aka sending hundreds or thousands of backlinks to my youtube videos everyday to rank fast if you can help me become familiar? :)
  • For reference 100's or 1000's is not "heavy" territory. 200 lpm all day is ~300k links and that is approaching heavy in my book :)
