"Stop the Project After ____ Verifications" Bug?

I already tried lots of testing about this option.
Please note that I have the settings (Stop the project after) and (verifications) enabled.

One time, I set it to 5000 verifications (NOT verifications per day). The project already has 6000 verified links but the project didn't stop and still continue running.
Another experiment, I set it to 20,000 verifications. The project already has 22,000+ verified links but the project is still running.
Most of the time, I have 2 projects running at the same time.
@Sven: Could you please try to investigate this one? Thanks!

Please search the forum. Thats not a bug. Most likely the created submissions just involve the account creation. Thats not having any URL and so does not get counted.
