xpressengine links do they expire?

Hello, Iv been rechecking quite a few of my xpresslinks and the article that used to be there now returns a message in Chinese which translate saying that what I am trying to find isnt there.... Does this mean that the xpressengine links just get auto deleted? On many xpressengine sites you can see with the url that many many articles gwt posted like ?document_srl=3800 but if you check ?document_srl=1 or whatever you never seem to find the old articles? whats going on? But then again I do notice old article still up.. but I think that they are kept alive by trackbacks because all the old articles on expressengine sites have thousands of trackbacks added to them...

    I haven't seen them be auto deleted but since they're on self-hosted domains, they likely expire or they uninstall xpress.
