Is ranking a new site has become impossible these days?

This days, it looks like its impossible to rank a new website. I was trying to get rank for low competition keywords and i am also using GSA SER. But it looks like backlinks are not working for me anymore. I am slowly losing a faith in backlinks. 
What about you? Have you ranked any new site recently?

    Yes, I have. You can't expect miracles though. You must work hard. I have very good content, with nice SEO done on it, as well a lot of on-page optimizations, and I build only high quality backlinks with GSA SER, I use a lot of filters. I have some sites ranked with pure spam too, churn & burn and they've been on top for about a week so far. So, I'm not sure exactly what you are doing, maybe if you tell us more details we can help you.

    Churn and burn isn't dead, if you've seen garcinia in the past month, there have been two people that achieved page 1 rankings with just spam. I know one of them, the .org owner.

    Anyway, you're going to need to select the right platforms, filters and settings if you want to rank long term.
