Must We Flush Target Buffer If We Change Target Source?

In other words, if I have Targets in the buffer from whatever source, and I want to shift to a Link List (or I,S,V,F), if I want SER to start immediately processing the new link target source, must I then go into settings and Clear the Target Buffer, or go to the Target Buffer Popup Window and delete (after backing up or whatever)?

MY observation seems to show that I would have to delete the Target Buffer first. If I am wrong, someone please let me know! All help is much-appreciated!

How is this supposed to work? What does "just a link in article" do? It seems this creates a link and inserts the second project KW into the body of the article with a link.

What does the random word or phrase do? Does that just put a link onto ANY word in the article, and NOT the KW inserted?

Is there a way to access this KW SER has chosen (" additional links from project") via SER Macro?

We have %keyword% but I don't think that is accessing the KW SER generated on encountering this setting set in a project submitting an article. Just a random KW.

Sven, could we also gain benefit having this to work as a KW and link at bottom as "Sentence at Bottom" as a third option?

Debugging My Setup for GSA

Hi, GSA ppl. I was wondering if I could get some help.

I have some projects I've been running.

At this point, I am getting very few Verified links.

I've tried scraping with SER, the Scrape Genie, using my Verified List, purchased lists...not really working..

So I want to see why this isn't working.

I've been searching through my projects trying to see what's up.

I have good proxies for scraping and posting. I tried using public G! search, anon-passed, as well as a rotating proxy for scraping. That seems to work.

I've tried posting with both public proxies and private proxies. Both seem to work.

I see Submissions go by the log panel. In green.

SER verifies Captcha solves. So apparently that is okay.

My emails are set up correctly. Pass the SER check and the login is correct for all.

Have a VPN split tunnel on this machine and only the browser goes through. Even so, I've turned it on and off, just in case.

I am stumped. Any help would be much appreciated.

What am I overlooking?!

Captcha success rate issues - GSA SER or XEvil?

I’m honestly at the point where I don’t know if I’ll ever see the light with these captcha success rates. Not sure anymore if the problem is coming from GSA SER or XEvil, but one thing I’m certain of – it’s not from me personally.

How can I be getting tons of Bad SiteKey errors? When I ask XEvil support what triggers it, they don’t give any specific answers. When I ask my proxy provider (ReProxy), they also don’t know. So now I have to ask you, Sven – is this problem coming from GSA SER?

It feels impossible: I run the same site list over and over, literally looping it, and I get different success rates each time. I feel like an idiot trying to prove something to myself and find a solution, but it seems like there is none.

Any clarification would help, because right now I’m stuck between blaming GSA SER or XEvil or Proxy provider, and neither side gives me a straight answer.

XEvil support is no help – they always insist their software is flawless, never give a clear answer, and when I press them it feels like talking to an AI with attitude. One guy even told me to untick the rotating option in XEvil and use IPv4 sticky proxies for ReCaptcha v2/v3. That makes no sense to me, because for years everyone recommended IPv6 for v2/v3 and IPv4 only for hCaptcha. I’ve literally re‑read the entire GSA SER forum from 2012 until now, so I know what the common advice has been.

Yet here I am: tons of Bad SiteKey errors, inconsistent success ratios, and no straight answers from XEvil or proxy providers. So Sven, I have to ask directly – is this a GSA SER issue? Because when I run the same list in a loop, the results shouldn’t be this different.

At this point I feel like I’m chasing my tail trying to prove something to myself, but I need clarity. Is the problem rooted in GSA SER, or is it something else entirely?

GSA Search Engine Ranker Project Email Module Account Ordering

I was wondering what SER's behavior is for email accounts for each project.

Does it matter which order I place the e-mail accounts in, or does SER randomly choose?

If a POP3 or other connection is bad, does SER choose another email account?

I find that two emails are used most. I have them at the top of the list for projects using them.

Should I randomize? Thank you!

Integrating GSA SER with X Evil 7.0

What's going on, pplz? I haven't checked in for a bit. Hope everyone has been well...

I have just purchased the Xevil 7.0 access. I was hoping for a higher success rate than 6.x ...

But I have an issue: when trying to check balance, SER encounters "connection reset by peer."

Further, the [R/H/...] button at top is greyed out and I can't access this module in Xevil.

To be clear, I've tried different emulation protocols, API key or no key, I'm starting both in Admin, tried a new installation of Xrumer, tried using Xauth.

Running Xevil 6.0:

But i DO get access to ReCap 2,3 etc...

I noticed there are four options available: CONNECT, WEB, SOCKS4, and SOCKS5.

Which one do you recommend for GSA SER, and why? Is there any noticeable difference in terms of speed, compatibility, or success rate?

Saw this pop up as a new addition in the latest update of the main software...clicked thru to their sales page and the geek in me lit up reading it. That said, as cool as it sounded, it was also kind of a bunch of potential word salad w/o anything really going into depth and explaining all the cool sounding concepts etc.

Anyone using it directly? Couldnt really find anything googling it or at BHW or here etc. Unless I missed a sales thread or something.

GSA SER Security Concern - Need Advice

I recently encountered a security issue on my Windows machine and wanted to check if anyone else has experienced something similar.

Windows Security Alert (Severe):

Detected: Trojan/ScrInject.EK!MTB
Status: Quarantined
Affected file path: AppData\Roaming\GSA Search Engine Ranker\projects\[]...new_targets
The alert mentioned that the program is dangerous and may execute commands from an attacker.

So far, Windows Defender has quarantined the threat, but I also noticed a “Remediation incomplete” message from an earlier detection, which is a bit concerning.

A few questions:

Issues Finding Backlinks with GSA Search Engine Ranker

It’s been a little over a month that I’ve been trying to find backlinks using GSA Search Engine Ranker, but it’s no longer returning anything. I use ProxyScraper and Captcha Breaker, I’ve configured a few more engines to search for sources, and I’m doing the same things I’ve always done. I used to always find at least some backlinks, sometimes many.

I should also mention that I use more than one template configured by myself, for the same website, but it’s no longer returning backlinks during the search.

I kindly ask if anyone could help shed some light on this issue. I can’t afford a VPS, private proxies, or paid lists at the moment. My budget is very limited right now, and I’m having trouble solving this problem.

Well, not gonna lie it's been many years since I ran ol' Bessie here.

I got myself a list, and I'm running it through all the engines.

I'm noticing that the amount I used to get back in the day looks nerfed... maybe it the list? I dunno.

But, I'm noticing a lot of sites are showing up in the verified that are just blog pages, websites etc. Nothing to do with the link I was creating. And then tons showing links that are verified that are not my links.. despite those links not even existing on that given page.

Tons get submitted but only a few make it to the email.

Got proxies running as well.

I have great luck running url redirects... that was easy to get over 10k...

Would this just be a list issue, or is this just how things are nowadays?

Using AI With GSA SER

I had been using SER with OPEN AI but I found that those projects stopped working months ago.

I was generating some ok articles on-the-fly using:

#openai[gpt-3.5-turbo,Write xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.,y]

I know this used to work.

I set the API key in the "Add" panel of the same project I'm testing now. Was there some other place in GSA SER I should have added an API key? I can't recall. I know that without a key, this will never work. Right now, waiting for reply.

I found this in the GSA SER manual for macros:

"Make sure you sign up at https /inferkit.com/ for an API-KEY. The API Key must have been entered once while in the Article Manager and add a GPT3 generated article"

I guess #openai should be the same for using #gpt?

I just used the API key generated at Open AI. That was fine.

SER worked when requesting a single article using Open AI and it seems the API key is still there even after I close the project and re-open so apparently that isn't the issue.

Any help would be great. Thank you.

P.S. The Preview function took a long time and finally did not generate an article. Is that the expected behavior?

P.P.S. GPT-4o mini is cheaper..anyone use this..is it better than 3.5 Turbo?

This is still not working. Links have been made but the article do not get generated on-the-fly as before.

The API key is good. SER will generate the article using the feature in "Add Articles "in the AI popup.

I’m new to the forum and also new to GSA SER. I’ve been really interested in learning more about it, so I’m currently trying out the demo version. However, I’ve noticed that many of the posts can’t be made due to unresolved captcha issues.

To solve this, I’ve downloaded the xEvil demo version, but I’m struggling with setting up the basic connection between GSA SER and xEvil to handle captcha solving.

Is it possible to define folders for my lists of identified URLs for each project?

Example:

Project: Health => folder identified as Health

Hello everyone, I launched my website 3 months ago and it was gradually growing. I had reached an average of around 3k impressions and 30 clicks per day, but today when I checked, it dropped to only 2 clicks and 155 impressions. The drop is huge, and Search Console hasn’t shown any errors either.

GSA SER Says “No targets left” Even Though I Imported Millions of Identified URLs — What’s Going On?

Hey guys,

I really need help figuring this out because something is not adding up at all.

I imported a little over 6 million identified URLs into one project.

I ticked all platforms, disabled search engines, and set the project to use my global site list → Identified folder.

After less than 2 days, I get this message:

“No targets to post to (no search engines chosen, no url extraction chosen, no scheduled posting)”

There is no way SER processed 6 million URLs in under 48 hours with LPM 20–30 and 100 threads. Not even close.

So I tried again…

This time I created separate projects per platform (Articles, Blog Comments, Guestbooks, etc.).

Instead of letting SER pull from the global site list automatically, I imported platform-specific URLs into each project manually.

Same result — after a short period:
“No targets left to post”

How can this be possible when I have almost 3 million Article URLs alone, and tons more across other platforms?

Did anyone run into this before?
Is SER skipping URLs?
Is there some filtering, footprint detection, or caching behavior deleting targets I’m not aware of?

Any insight would help because this makes absolutely no sense right now.

And last picture options are like above only difference all platforms are ticked and it's fetching from global site list "Identified" instead of importing in project list directly.
