Identify website multiple times?

Isnt it a good idea to keep matching engines even if its already matched?

    I mean, when GSA got "engine match" this particular website is not going to be matched by other engines, i am correct?
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
    no not correct. It tests against every engine and takes the one with the best score (most "page must have" or "url must have" lines match). Thats why you will see some engines having the same content in the "page must have1", "page must have2".... lines.

    Also if one engine fail, it will try the next matching one.
  • Would it be possible to provide a feature that will match into multiple engines? I am curious about results. I had best results setting up 1 project / engine.

    well it does that already as written above?

    Exactly. What i meant is:

    1) Engine matches -> Post
    2) Continue matching other engines ->
    3) Engine matches -> Post
    4) Continue matching other engines ->
    5) ...

    hmm not a good idea...that would cause more than one link per site. Thats not what most customers want.

    If that is easy to implement, it could an additional setting, off by default.
    I really seen much much better results 1 engine / project. Another way to achieve that is to automatically (right click -> split) split project into multiple (1 engine / project).

    Or, continue matching other engine only if submission failed / link not found.
