Can I buy a domain, set it up with cpanel, have a wildcard email address so bob@domain.com, john@domain.com, etc. simply goes to one mailbox? And does GSA products work with this setup or does it need a true email account per project?
Yes, you can set it up if your hosting provider allows wildcard email addresses as some like Bluehost doesn't allow them. SER works with this setup. It is called catchall email and if you check the email tab in project settings you will find some instructions there.
Optionally if you don't fancy to go through all the hassle of setting up and managing your own catchall service which could be a pain in the neck you can always go for a catchall email service.
