GSA as compared to ScrapeBox for comment posting

Hi guys,

I've basically done a lot of research into GSA and have used the trial version so I have a basic understanding of how the program works. My question is, is GSA good for mass comment blasting, the way that ScrapeBox is good for?

Thanks guys for your help and I really appreciate this forum for how helpful people are.

Even though I am the code of SER and you should normally not listen to someone talking of it's own tool, I would say it can compiet with that very well. The engine "General Blog Commands" alone supports most of the Blog ccomment sites available.
  • Oh that is great to hear. So it can blast to more than just Wordpress blogs then? That's the problem of ScrapeBox, in that it is very limited. Okay cool.
  • Scrapebox is a brillant tool, would never use it to post though. SER leaves it standing for that.

ManjariDeviDasi I haven't used Scrapebox for posting for years but even back then it supported much moe than just WordPress.

In my opinion, SER beats it in both usability and functionality when it comes to link creation. I still use Scrapebox, almost daily infact but I use it for link acquisition rather than posting.
  • So basically you use ScrapeBox for harvesting URLs and then put those links into GSA? One problem I've had with scrapebox, no matter how many keywords I use, I can't seem to ever find more than 850,000 unique URL domains. So the tool seems quite limited in that regard.

Are you using the default footprints?
  • i have no idea. What are footprints?

Basically, ways to identify a website, my post here might help you understand them and filter out the ones that are a waste of time.
  • Thanks. I bought and started using GSA and Captcha Breaker. I followed a youtube tutorial to set up the campaign, and the main problem is that I cannot verify the email even though the hotmail address I am using is valid, and I used the right password and settings. So that seems to be screwing it up a lot.

My active campaign has been running for 3 hours and it has 160 Submitted and 26 Verified. Is this good, or very bad?

Theres far too many metrics involved to say if that link yield is good or bad. Take it as a base line and then try to improve on it :).
  • Well first thing I will do is try to get the emails working. I think that is causing a huge failure rate.

I'm guessing you are scraping everything with SER for this?

I have just released this post on how to scrape your lists with SER and it might help you increase your LPM a little.
  • Thanks for the article link, I will check it out
