Bug with verify all.

shaunshaun https://www.youtube.com/ShaunMarrs
Say I have two projects, I select them both at the same time, right click - show URLs - Verified. In the url window that opens I click the verify button at the bottom and then all. SER does its thing and runs through all the URLs but it seems to fail most of them. If I run each project one at a time it finds the URLs.

Not sure if it is a bug or just not currently supported.

If it is not currently supported is there any chance you could put it on your to do list @sven?

    I have just tried this without issues. Maybe it's something in your two projects. Can you send them to me to debug this?

    @sven I used the two projects as an example without actually testing it, just tested it now and it seems to work fine for two projects. I have PMed you the five projects that the problem is happening on.

    @sven

    I have just had a little spare time to do some testing on the projects I PMed to you.

    If I select each of the five projects individually one at a time and right click - show urls - verified - verify all. They all come back 100% online and ok.

    If I select two projects it seems to be ok some times and other times has the bug.

    Three or more projects always seems to have the bug where once it has verified the vast majority of the urls apparently fail, even though they just passed with no problems when done one at a time.
  • Yeah I just had a disastrous situation this weekend. I had about 200,000+ verifieds drop down to about 10,000 verified on one project and the other two projects I had about 100,000 verifieds go down to 3,000 verifieds.

    I could tell that something odd was going on because usually the process you outlined: show urls > verified > verify all urls... I set it overnight and by late next morning its done. This time this weekend of June 10 I started it on Saturday and it wasn't done til about Monday. It was extremely unusual.

    Huge losses.

    In all honesty, I have never checked the process the way I did yesterday so im not sure if it is a new thing or has always been in. I dread to think what I could have lost if it has always been in :(.
  • I'm hoping it was a one time thing! I've never experienced that level of losses and I do this once a week religiously.

    Well hopefully Sven sees what the issue was.

    If not maybe going forward - to be on the safe side - I will have to carry out the process one project at a time instead of highlighting all.
